What will happen for Pensions Year End 2025/26?

Modified on Tue, 17 Mar at 9:52 AM

Please see below information regarding the End of Year Process for 2025/2026.

Although producing your End of Year Return is a process offered to our Payroll Plus clientele, if you would like to complete the process independently, we would be very grateful if you could please confirm this with us by midday 20/03/2026. To do this, please email edupay-pensions@tes.com confirming your trust’s name and school names with the subject line “End of Year Return Request”.

If you produce your own End of Year returns, we can offer guidance for finding data on EduPay, however we will not correct or amend your self-produced End of Year returns during audit if requested.

We will aim to send the End of Year Return to the trust at least one week before the fund’s deadline to enable the trust to review the data before sending it on. It is the trust’s responsibility to ensure the received file is approved and returned to the fund on time.

EduPay will only produce End of Year Returns on your behalf if your trust has been with EduPay for the full 2025/26 financial year (not including parallel run months). With this in mind, please be aware that you may be in a position where you will be required to complete this process in-house, and that we will be unable to assist in the auditing of same. We can however send you any information relevant to your time with Tes in order to help you navigate the process itself.

If you have received an End of Year Return template from your Local Government Pension Scheme, please forward this on to edupay-pensions@tes.com for us to complete.

Finally, please be aware that during the period of producing the End of Year Returns (approximately 23/03/2026-15/05/2026) we will be experiencing a high level of contact from all of our clients, so please do be patient with us during this extremely busy time of year.
