What is a TPS ‘Error’ and a TPS ‘Suspense File’?

Modified on Wed, 10 Sep at 11:48 AM

TPS Errors may occur as a result of a number of factors such as a discrepancy in contribution amounts, incorrect reference numbers or indeed incorrect personal information relating to an individual. Should an error occur, Tes will look to rectify as soon as possible based on the updated information provided. Should the error relate to a discrepancy with contributions, this may normally be resolved via a refund/arrears processed in the next month’s payroll. If there is a 3-month delay in Tes actioning rectifications, submissions may be suspended, however Tes will also rectify in-house and keep you informed with regular updates.
