As customers are required to manually enter a custom award amount in BPS for these two pay elements, the approved cost of living increase is not automatically applied to these values.
Therefore, cost of living backpay for these elements cannot be calculated in EduPay. As a result, any cost of living backpay due to employees receiving these payments has to be manually calculated.
Manual amendments can be made using the Add option in the Adjustment section of the Pay Elements Employee tab. Cost of living - TLR Range and Cost of living – SEN are then available as a Pay element options:
These can be used to allocate cost of living backpay to the employee for these pay elements.
Note: that customers will need to manually calculate the relevant amounts due to the employee outside of EduPay.
