This means that the employee has already registered for EduPay, most likely at a different school or trust.
The easiest way to get around this is to have the new staff member use a new or different email address.
Alternatively, they can contact their old school and ask them to remove the email, but be aware, they will lose access to their other account.
(Please note only one email can be assigned to an account so an alternative email is required with no work arounds available)
